What materials will I receive?
After you enroll, we’ll send you confirmation of your enrollment. That has basic information about your order, such as the names of those enrolled from your household, your rooming selection and payment information.
Next, we’ll send you an Information Packet that includes an up-to-date daily schedule, contact information, travel directions, a packing list, a reading list — everything you’ll need to prepare. If you enroll in one of our international programs, you’ll receive an additional information packet with more details.
If you purchased airfare with us, we’ll send you a separate packet of information that has all your airfare details.
If you have an online account with us, you can access all your trip information as soon as it’s available. If you don’t have an Eduwild online account, why not create one now?
What information do I need to provide to Eduwild before my departure?
We ask you to provide some personal information and preferences so we can best prepare for your program, such as dietary restrictions and emergency contact information. You can provide this information under "Personal Information" and "Your Preferences," found in the Upcoming Trips section of your online Eduwild account. The sooner you fill out your form, the better prepared we’ll be.
Some programs may also require trip-specific information. If we need anything more from you, we will contact you to request it.
Can I meet my fellow Eduwild online before my trip?
The Eduwild discussion boards are a great way for you to get to know your fellow Eduwild Travelers before your program begins and stay in touch after.
Can you recommend some books to read?
We put a lot of thought into the recommended reading list for every program. The more you know about your destination or topic before you go, the more you’ll get out of the experience when you get there.
You can find the recommended reading list at the bottom of the ‘At-a-Glance’ section of your program on our website. We also include the reading list in the information packets we provide you.
Do you take care of visas?
For some of our international programs, we include visas you’ll need in the cost of your program. However, there are a few countries that won’t let us purchase visas on your behalf. In those cases, we’ll give you instructions on how you can get the visa yourself.
Can I add on extra days before or after my program?
Many of our learning adventures offer trip extensions, either before or after your program. Usually a few nights long, sometimes even longer, our extensions give you the opportunity to make the most of your travel budget and dig deeper into a different location or topic with us. If you just want to make your own plans to arrive early or stay longer, you can take advantage of the special Eduwild rate available through many of the lodgings we use. We’ll provide information about how to make your own reservations in the information packets you’ll receive when you enroll.
If I’m arranging my own travel, how do I know where to go?
After you enroll in your program, we will send you a detailed information packet, which includes instructions on how to meet up with your group. You can also find lots of transportation information in the ‘Preparation’ section on the ‘Itinerary & Map’ page on every program on our website.
Can I purchase insurance to protect my program investment?
Yes. Eduwild is pleased to offer the Eduwild Trip Protection Plan(third party involved). You may purchase this optional insurance after enrolling in your program.
